How to Book a Session
A free 15-minute consultation can be arranged through the ‘Get In Touch’ link on the website, by phone call or email. Subsequent sessions can be booked online, or by contacting us directly. We look forward to meeting you.
What to Expect During Your First Session
Informed and ongoing consent is valued at Catalyst! We will start with a discussion about confidentiality, privacy, session notes, possible risks/benefits, and other consent topics. Next, we can explore your reasons for seeking counselling and goals for our work together.
You could share what you are already doing, what has worked (or not worked) in the past. We could also discuss your strengths, areas under development, and collaboratively create a plan for the future.
Cancellation Policy
Please give as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule, and we will do our best to accommodate. Time is valuable – at least 24 hours notice is needed to avoid a full charge of the session missed.
Telepsychology
Telepsychology can provide flexibility and comfort in attending counselling. It is recommended to schedule your session for a time when you can arrange a quiet and private space for yourself. When you schedule an appointment you will receive a link for a secure online meeting room. Sessions are secure and conducted using Jane, a Canadian online telehealth platform. Telephone sessions may also be arranged.
