Couples & Family

At Catalyst Counselling Centre, our psychologists use a collaborative approach and rely on well established, evidenced-based therapies to address real life problems.

Through a personalized approach, we customize treatment plans for individual clients and their presenting topics.  

We offer variety of approaches from Psychodynamic, Attachment, Jungian, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness to Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.

Couples & Family Counselling

For more understanding, increased mutual respect, improving communication skills, clarifying roles and boundaries, or learning new parenting strategies, we can help.

Our psychologists are experienced in techniques used to help family members find common ground, communicate, cooperate and interact more effectively.

Sessions are available in person and online.

Our therapists can help your family navigate a variety of life's challenges and transitions that can cause distress and distance. Life changes, such as the arrival of a baby, divorce, co-parenting, the death of a family member, and trauma, can be supported and navigated more easily with a well trained therapist.
